WOOHOOO, yesterday I watched the first part of MW - 2009 film adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's MW manga & IT... WAS... AWESOOOOMEEEEEE 

Can't believe the klutzy Shinichi Chiaki in the Nodame Cantabile can be the all out cold psycho genius Yuki!!!! (I was laughing & sqweeeeing in the 1st 30min of the movie, Yuki is awesomely eeebil genius!!!) & Takayuki Yamada playing as Father Garai is manlier than his nerdy role in Densha Otoko :heart: (still he's shorter than Hiroki ahahaaaaahahaa)

It didn't stay true to the original, but i love it all the same some part like when Yuki killed a boy & his father in the original is replaced by a flirty daughter & his father instead... & the BL part has been tone down to mere friendship but *hint, hint*

PS3 Slim has arrived~!!!! gya.. gyaaaaa~~~ I couldn't contain the excitement of finally owning a PS3 :D (the truth is I own 1/3 of it~ ) but nvm!! 

The story goes like this, after my first salary confirm on Friday 2 weeks ago, I just called my bros & said I've got salary & go & buy it on Sat! ahahahaaaa. Crazy am I? It is a beauty, 1 controller + 1 free game & due we topped up with another game + 8G PSP Memory card which amounted to RM1400++ So my bro play the PS3 like crazy (he hogged it when we get home from 10pm on that saturday & continue playing till 9PM the next day, with sleep, breaks etc) so the games we have so far are Ninja Gaiden Sigma & Metal Gear Solid 4.

Well on Sun, my engine friends visited me, the 7 of them (except D who is offshore at the moment), while waiting for the dinner to be cooked all of us hangin' around near the drumset my bro brought earlier & my mom cooked something delicious for them so we chatted until 9PM, while gwarkin' the PS3 (especially Z who has the same nut abt anime, games like me ohohohohoho). It was a fun day & I have not forgotten that the next day I have to go to Fraser hill ahahahaaaa.... I'll tell abt that in other post ya?

Hello everyone I'm back~ after the battle with a job assigned to me & it almost finished! *celebrates* just waiting for the consumer's feedback & once it's launched I'll post em here in my blog. At the same night, me & H wanna go & have dinner @ Nyonya's Kitchen with P, his GF & X. but due to 3 cute, undecisive guys (for me, they are cute) who came to H's workplace when the shop is about to close, so we were delayed for an hour of our dinner. H said it is a good thing they finally brought something, if not they get thrown from the shop for just browsing. Ha, ha... Bcause of that, we were late, P & his GF do other plans of their own, so no Dinner @ Nyonya's Kitchen (It'll be closed when the time we come anyway) & so me, H & X go to PizzaHut near my house instead & have a very hearty meal until 12.00am =3 It is kinda disappointing as H really want to check out that restaurant. Oh well, there'll be next time~

Puasa, First day of work + a smoking brain

Today is my first day of work, so the whole day I spend most of the time briefing about the company, the products, codenames, trades & spend my afternoon till end of the day browsing & familiarize with the previous designs the company had done with agencies. I am working under B, a pleasant but relaxed looking guy & C, a girl who likes "celebration, fun" style artwork a lot. W is the admin, among with the others which I still have to remember their name but most of them are leng chai & leng lui *___* (Hanz: I am in heaven ufufufufuuu)

To be honest, I am the first in house designer they ever hired on & I am quite 0_0||| the whole time since I am just graduated & there is SO MUCH to learn moar. I tried to absorb everything like a sponge & familiarized with the terms & everything.... Below is how Mie & Hanz take on today's briefing...

ahahaaa... actually I have a mild headache nao writing this *ROFL* that's why the lines are shaky kikikiki.... So my line of job is to create contest forms, promotion, ads + maybe designing a few new product designs that is suitable w the company. Wish me luck!

Oh, about my cousin's restaurant project, it has to be postponed due to some technical problem & the status of the restaurant is still on confirm yet. Outing(s) + New haircut~!

Recently I spend my days my going out with mah friends & a separate one with my family. So it can be separated into 3 sessions:

Outing 1: On Sat

Well, a friend (X) asked me & other friend (H) to check on her English + since I've "leaked out" a nice & delish cake shop nearby so we decide to have an outing. First stop is to H's house & we wish her sis happy bday! X drew something for them. So kakkoi :heart:

Then we went to the cake shop & can't decide which one to pick~ X chose 2 slices of cake - a choco cake & Opera cake, H chose a pretty looking cake for her sis, a blackberry cheese pie & the same choco cake as X & finally, I chose a slice of Tiramisu cake.

Happy Birthday S!

After delivering da cake to H's sis, we went to eat at a vietnamese restaurant @ Sunway Pyramid under H's rec. The environment is so classic with bamboo deco & Vietnamese feel in it. My friends order up rice meals & I ended up just a congee with lotus seed (I am on budget). & oh my, I can't believe how tasty the food is & very very satisfying! Then we ate the cheese pie, which is a sin! the cheese are so damn perfect & melt in the mouth, aaah, I am dying to know how to make it~~~~ So we chat & correcting X's essay till 9.30 pm O_o||| Went back at home at 10, my mom & bro were watching Korean movie, The Classic & Marathon starring Jo Seung Woo while eating the small piece of Tiramisu cake among the 5 of us, it was good~~~ but it feels more on more of my bro brainwash us to watch it till 1 am =))

Outing 2: Yesterday

So bored of cooking & have no idea what to eat, my dad bring me & bro to MidValley & to Sushi King~ oooh since its an Unagi fest promo in SK, so I dared myself to eat em + Wasabi (I never like Wasabi b4) but a little bit. So ate a lot to sushi & set meal (I chose Oyako something, Croquette & Takoyaki).

Then we went to see the electronic shop to survey TV price (since the old one in the family room is "kidnapped" to my parent's room XD) & my how the LG promoter try to convince Dad into buying LG TV. So my Dad use the tactic "But that is under consideration" =)) Ha my dad & his under consideration mode is awesome.

Outing 3: Today
I need to settle with my student loan (well just a misly payment) so I kinda ask my bro along & he ask his friend along too. so there's the three of us headed to KL Sentral to pay. After that I receive a call abt my job & ehe, I was accepted~! So happy!

After that we went to MidValley (again) for Japanese lunch, but this time at Yoshinoya. It's cheap & filling! I chose the cheapest beef bowl (gyudon) while bro's Tori Katsu and friend's gyudon.

After that well, I felt that I seriously need a haircut (I didn't have one since 2 years ago), so we literally "raid" Midvalley in search of the cheapest & the location of the hair stylist shop. There's abt 4 shops & the cheapest I can get is RM15.00 (abt USD4.00) in X-Cut & the chinese lady is nice. So my hair nao is very short but since my hair is thicker at my right side, it makes me look a bit emo style =))

Ah gtg, need to bake a carrot cake for mom's party tomorrow, signing off!

• Someone I never met but heard so much about died last month. I was pretty upset coz she is one of my inspiration to dive into this designing world. No matter, I'll prove that I'll do my best to honour her. RIP Yasmin Ahmad. (will elaborate on this later)

Daicon'09 + shigoto

Ok, may be I should change the title to "Thoughts of the week!" ROFL

First off Daicon'09 AKA Lobak Putih'09, although it's a bit dull compared to other cons still I'm enjoyed it!

I went with my friends on Sun. So, for convenience purposes, me & 2 friends has a sleep OVA the night b4~!!! It was fun & we did crazy things liek one friend chase my bro (who teases the way my friend ate) round & around the dining table while I played the Mambo de chocobo song =)) Although we had to start early, we surf the net & played the chocobo song until 2am.. ahahhaaa crazy aaa...

Well, the direction to go there is easy (but hellish on the way back) & pretty straight forward, but it's not as grand as what I expected. I am very thankful for the TOOTHPASTE & that sporting guy who gave me them *___*!!! But when I think abt it, it is weird that the hall is divided into 2 & separated by big, blue wall. I know its for Minorin concert so I didn't care abt it~

The doujin stalls + sponsor booths are so-so & too separated from each other. I am weirded out by the booths etc coz it looks more like an otaku con than usual con's I've attended to (like GACC + CF), but whatthe hell, I came for the sake of meeting & have fun with my friends. the booth that I really enjoyed are the Rockband booth where we terserempak with the GameAxis editor (& my friends, acc to them , they literally do gigs with him on the RockBand! lol)

Since I entered the drawing comp & it fins at 2pm so I haven't much tiem to look around. When the concert start tiem, IT'S A BLACKOUT!!!!! Ha, fancy shopping for doujin using the handphone torchlight! Although its inconvenient, but a new experience for me. We heard the concert against the Berlin wall + pretty much amused when the fans (fanboys, sheesh) chanting "Encore! encore!" One thing I'm pretty disappointed coz the booths & Meido Cafe wrapped up during the concert tiem & I haven't done most of my shopping yet!

I'm also one of them that is not satisfied with the figurine collections as the proportion between male & female figurines are not balanced (95% females?). As I browse the place only abt 10 are male figures & kinda "hidden" amongst the overpopulated opposite gender. Just sounding my opinion, there are a lot of good male figurines out there & there are fans whose hands itching to get them. Not just gay lovers, ya know. I suggest that more varieties & good male figurines are displayed along too. If xde pun.. what abt all the Kamen Rider, Ultraman, ???rangers + the one-coin figures like Gundam SEED, Hetalia, Togainu no Chi etc, etc???

I missed the free Zaku givaway T___T & the sponsors booth are awesome (ROCK BAND BABY!!). Though the Lobak Putih still have its cons moar than pro, I hope they'll improve on next year!

My uncle came & visit me earlier & propose a job to redesign & possibly *gulp* manage a restaurant along with my cousin. I was happy to receive this job since designing is gonna be fun! It is to be an arabic restaurant & targeting the students & I am given the freedom to redesign the major stuffs like logo, menu, phamplet, packaging etc etc...

the prob is I have not even a slightest idea abt the restaurant... hahahhaaa... no I meant I am not that familiar with arabic cruisine (japanese cruisine on the other hand... =3), but I think it would be a positive challenge to me to design it! & a good chance since I haven't get a ny real shigoto yet~ Probably gonna visit the restaurant tomorrow, so wish me luck ya!

Of comic, rain, movie, headache & CGI!

3 days earlier, I follow a friend who submitted the comics for a publication magazine~ so I went to the friend's house & have a chat while waiting for the comic to be finished. We went there by car.

I a bit relaxed when I'm with my friend but as the main editor came, I automatically switch mode to a rigid shy mode~ ahahahaaa~ I show the comic that I did 2 years ago (but not the latest coz its still in the brain *^_^*). He said my style still not stable enough & still in the level of 20-30%~ He adviced me to do a ref to an artist that I like, (which is a lot ahahaaaa....) Maybe I'll stick to either Minekura style (Saiyuki, Wild Adapter) + Nomura + Nitro+Chiral style (gorgeous... gorgeous style *__* )

No matter, I have to improve more & I'll work my ass on it! YEAH! to mah Dream!!!

Going back, we went to Times Square to have a late lunch. My friend want to go to Pavallion but as soon we're ready to go to that place... it RAINED D: For us it is very unusual when it rains HEAVILY coz in where we stay it rains so little or nothing at all. Geeehh, so we when back & trapped in the train station (which seems tooo long) until its bearable to walk/run to the car~ dun dun duuuun....

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

It was an awesome more, full of explosion, god awesome CGI rendering & moar actions! ahh, I wish to learn how to render that kind of CGI! *___________* the story is good. I almost cried (but not crying) when it came to the angst part & laugh outloud when it came to the funny things. The robots are *___* reminds me of my childhood memories (from what I can remember it always runs at 7pm/7.30pm, when me & my family eating dinner while watching it)

Although the robots are all becoming shinier (uuu, shiny) & crazier in this sequel, there's some of the new Autobots & Decepticons that I like (the design & their antiques). For the design... I totally LOVE the new Soundwave concept, from a radio with cassette robot into a sattelite hacking sattelite robot (2 words: TENTACLE RAEP!!!). From Autobot it's Arcee triplet (though they got a tiny, tiny screentime compare the idiotic twins, ahahaaa) & of couse the GRAMPA JETFIREEEEEEEE. Complete with his (new) beard, cane & ojiji antiques; rambling, grumbling, the "uh.. what planet am I?" forgetfullness & he *snickers* even farted! & Wheelie~ *laugh* after he heard Jetfire switched side Wheelie also change side~ that is *disturbingly* cute & who could forget the abusive relationship of Megatron & StarScream??? maybe I read too much BL & start imagining NSFW things *ROFL*

I have *the* stick & not afraid to use it! Says the coolest *snicker* ojiji

I wish I could enjoy it more but I had a nasty headache since I woke up & cannot enjoy the movie 100% T____T I kept touching my throbbing head & it felt too warm.. I guess, I caught a flu or something~ I hope it's not H1N1! *burst out laughing* even now I'm feeling a bit giddy~


Ok, back home, my friend whipped out... Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete DVD! so gyaaaaaaaaaa!!! As a FFVII nerd fan *snort* I was totally *____* by the "extra" scenes they deleted from the FFVII:AC version & I was all wooooshh all the way when the extras, new added songs (Yay Gerald Way!) & kept cursing why they cut some of the important parts! I sqweee when they added the dialog at the end of disc 1 of the original game (when Sephiroth mindfuck with Cloud after he kills Aerith) & the totally "missing" new scene of Zack & Cloud on the truck after the gunshot (from the original, FFVII: Last Order, FFVII:CC) the best part is its bilanguage! I am sooo gonna get it!

& then too tired from yesterday's agenda both of us slept like a log~ ahahahaaa

Yoosh, This is Mie here~ I decided to open a blog acc so that I can actually blog whatever I thought... or whatever... ha~

The prob for me is to actually maintain this blog as ahahahaaa... I seldom update journal etc, not because I'm a lazy ass, just that it's a habit (heck, I didn't own a diary!)

Rite now, I am currently a hikkikomori, jobless (fresh graduate!), spend a lot of time in front of the comp, sketching + drawing at least 3/4 files per day on Photoshop (my drawing suck & so sketchy) & chat via YM & MSN.... Avid BL, RPG game player & wishing *damn* hard to have the god-like hands that can draw hawt manga bishies like Nitro+Chiral illustrators & Nomura Tetsuya *___*
